 resolution is the detail an image holds. The term applies to raster digital images, film images, and other types of images. Higher resolution means more image detail. Image resolution can be measured in various ways.

Image resolution is the quality of an image, an image being a set of pixels that are created through various methods like drawing using specific software and taking photographs.

intenisty resolution is  how the printed image looks compared to how it is made EG, if you draw a car on a computer, then image resolution is how clear and detailed the car looks compared to picture resolution which is the way that it looks when you enter the image into real life rather than it looking in pixels on a monitor

this image shows the difference between different  ammounts of DPI or dots per inch essentially how many pixels per inch or in even simpler terms the higher the DPI the more pixels the more detail there is.


Intensity

Intensity is about the values of each individual pixel.This includes the shading of each colour and the individual code for each of the many thousand colours

For a grayscale images, the pixel value is a single number that represents the brightness of the pixel. The most common pixel format is the byte image, where this number is stored as an 8-bit integer giving a range of possible values from 0 to 255.
